#157918 - Bucket Brigade Comb Filter Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Christoph,
Years ago I made a comb filter using a Reticon Bucket Brigade Chip and it worked extremely well in removing the 60hz harmonics all the up the audio passband,so I have proved the concept. The response of the BBD Comb Filter was not a lowpass filter though so I guess things change a little by going to DSP versus hardware. All my experience has been in continuous time filter design and so I'm biting the bullet and determined to learn DSP. Here's the url for an Application paper by Ramtron using their Versa 8051 for a FIR filter: http://www.ramtron.com/files/app...tering.pdf I appreciate the feedback from you vetran programmers as I am new to this digital stuff (RF/Analog designing for the past 25years). Also studying up on the new Software defined Radio craze that's going on,but wanted to crack DSP first. |
