As always the detail of the implementation makes a big difference. I've found the MAC/Barrel Shifter integrated into the RAMTRON VRS'3074 to provide impressive execution rate improvements. A DMA would be a nice addition but with the right structuring, this already quick processor is capable of impressive signal processing. regards, p |
