 		 #158643 - lcd port switching problem
well i am using at89c52 with a generic 20*4 lcd. lcd is connected in 4 bit mode with data lines connected from p3.0-p3.3. enable is connected is connected to p3.7 and RS to p3.5. R/w- is grounded. as i am not checking for busy flag. now i have to change the port of lcd to some other port, but except port 3 its not working with any other port...
why is this happening. is there any internal circuitry which prevents this switch ?
