My question was if you had 16 intensity levels based on the light sensor, multiplied by n intensity levels based on your RGB image for full-color support.
In my case the image intensity is constant. The ADA (Americans with Disabilties Act) require that all displays have the same intensity.
Thus, my only intensity variation is regulated by ambient light.

Anyhow, if I wanted varying intensities, that would require no change except for the "color translation" I have a 'weight' of 15 (e.g. 6 red 5 green, 4 blue) for all colors, were the weight less the display would be less intense.
