The GTO is not a suitable device!
The turn-off current rises as you pass more main current through the device. I would prefer to take a modern IGBT with fast recovery diods. The device, I experinced with almost 10 years ago, was made by Phillips, I think it was: BTV 58 ?! O.K. |
