While it's true it would "flicker" rather than "stay low", I hope my nonsense question made you to pull out a multimeter and measure the actual voltage directly on the LPC's Rx pin, and also that it made you to re-read the section on UART pins initialisation in the manual. I know nothing on the LPC's, so I am as good as Andy's proverbial teddy bear in this case. Jan |
