Immediately before EA is enabled the SSTAT register is 0xE0
Meaning that the BR and FE flags have been not been set Immediately after EA is set the SSTAT register is 0xEC Meaning that the BR and FE flags have been set, I don't have STINT enabled as I wasn't concerned about these BR and FE flags, but of course that would indicate that something came in the serial port even if it was noise.
