#168518 - I have...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
In my collection, I have about 10 each of Amtel AT89S51-24PI, and AT89C2051-24PC. as well as the xtals, V regulators etc. What I don't have is a working programmer, since my old programmer started smoking. So if I'm correct in understanding that in order to program a chip for a reasonable cost, the first step is to program a chip... that's not an option for me right now. I was hoping to use the 89C2051 because it's prettier (1/4 the physical size), but I suppose I could get the cable and use the 89S51 instead???
