Hi Guy,

on my old data book from the former GDR the SRAM circuit U6516 (2kByte) contain already an internal address latch (/CE must be connected to ALE).
It was named compatibel to the HM6516 (Harris).

Also you can use the T89C51RD2, which has already additional 1kByte SRAM internal.
