No, my attitude towards this subject is PURELY HUMANITARIAN. Once upon a time, in a land far away, when these chips were the only choice I lived on a diet of aspirin and coffee. There is no reason for the new generation to go through the pain of using these chips. If any of the students/amateurs get a real job in this field, they will not be using these chips anyway since the modern solutions are both cheaper and more likely to be available for the lifetime of the project.
