Hey all,

I'm looking for a cheap and easy way to be able to tell if something is tilting to the left, centered, or to the right.
I know I can use gyros and such devices, but being a poor CpE college student with a expensive hobby I can't quite afford $100 gyros(cheaper ones available??). I'm trying to find some alternative that can easely be interfaced with a 8052(Maxim's 89c420 to be precise)
It would be great to know how much it is tilted to a specific side, but really, I can get by with just knowing if its in one of those three positions(no amazing accuracy necessary)
I will use this sensor's output to trigger servos that will compensate till the device is centered.
