Hi Gordon,

there exist real different requirements on different companies.

E.g. I work in a low quantity marked. And there it plays no role if the micro cost 1$ or 10$ beside the fact, that I would never get the PIC12CE674 or any other micro for under 3$ on low quantities.

But if I can finish the work one week earlier, if I use a micro, which I was familiar with it, then this fact count real money for the company.


So anybody must make the choice depending from all requirements, not only related to the software and hardware.
