#27198 - RE: Just had a job interview.... |
On one ocassion, I stood up in the middle of the interview and informed the interviewer and the V.P. of the company that the interview was over. I wished them the best of luck in locating a candidate that satisfied all their requirements and quickly bailed. The looks on their faces were priceless.
That's great! I wish I could have seen their faces, too. I haven't had the unfortunate need to do something like that but would certainly do it if the need were to arise. :) OFF-TOPIC: Reminds me of an old Steve Wright (comedian) joke: "Once, in the middle of an interview, I took out a book and started reading. The interviewer asked me 'What the hell are you doing?' So I said: 'Let me just ask you this. If you were in a vehicle traveling at the speed of light and you turned your lights on, would they do anything?' He answered, 'Hmm, I dunno.' 'Forget it then! I don't want to work for you!'" P.S. I was logged in but I got interrupted so many times composing my reply that I got logged out automatically. If you always logon from the same computer and/or that computer is always secure, you can go into your account profile and set the Auto-Logoff to "0". You'll automatically be logged on whenever you visit the site and will never be logged off. Just be sure not to do it on a public or shared computer or anyone will be able to logon as you.
