I'm looking at the P89C51RD2 Datasheet and I only see 768 bytes of Eram (page 42).
What actual instruction are you using when you write to 8000h or 8800h? In another derivative, Dallas DS87C520 which also has 1k of internal ram there are two SFR bits which control access to external ram only, both internal and external ram, or internal only with no access to external ram. Possibly the 'RD2 has similar SFR bits? Hal |
