When driving an LCD from port 0, with the active high E pin of the LCD conected to P0.3, I found that a read from internal XRAM (EXTRAM bit = 0)actually set the port pin P0.3 high, thus corrupting the LCD display. I rewired the E pin to P1.2 - this worked fine, but it seems there is a bug somwhere in the micro |
