When I was 20, there was only 1 computer on campus, running batches on tape (paper that is!) or 80-column cards! Those were the days! When you could stumble walking down the hallway, drop the precious deck of cards & spend hours getting the statements back in sequence! & drum memories!!

The first micro-processor (8080) I saw cost £200 each in 1975.
