Hi Pham,

Controlling RPM using encoder with 8951 would come only after you kindly tell us what are the motor specifications, what is the drive electronics of the motor.

apropos, you can corelate the time count between two "clicks" from the encoder with the desired RPMs and put that all in a look up table.

Varying the motor speed (depending on the information I asked) may be left to you.
