[/rant] However, having said all that, I will admit that the Visio idiom is somewhat unconventional - and yes, it does take a bit of getting used to. But then I find the same to be true of most Windows CAD programs - they work the way (I presume) that an experienced CAD user would expect, rather than the way an experienced Windows user would expect; ie, it's a matter of experience not intuition! In some ways it is surprising that MS haven't squeezed Visio into the Office mould... |
