Comments about the 8255's obsolescence are now in the FAQ, we can extend that item, and then close all threads related to the 8255 from now on ? Unless that is,the user has an interfacing problem TOO the 8255, like George.


I am tempted to write some code for a coolrunner, or possibly several codes that can be put here and downloaded for folks needing simple expansion for inputs or outputs.
