Hi All,

I have got one question in my mind for a 3.3V cygnal MCU and that is if we need to interface its TX an RX pins which are operating at 3.3V to MAX232E then is it possible to use a level translator chip 3.3V to 5V for a 56KBps communication line without impeding its performance .
PLEASE reply specificaly for the translator chip and not for using a 3.3V transceiver ,as the hardware is already there and a small section of the card containing the MCU has to be changed.
