Why do you need a level translator for 3.3V to 5.0V? If I understand you post correctly, you just need the Cygnal (3.3V) part to "talk" to a 5.0V part?
If this is true, then you can use the open drain function on the Cygnal devices, and use resistor pull-ups to 5V. The Cygnal I/O's are 5V tolerant. For example, on the F330 type device, P0MDOUT can be set so that Port0 is Open-drain (then use a pull up to 5V). If I have misread your post, I am very sorry. -Rob |
