I suggested that the 8051 may be a "standard type part"
with timer clocking of 1 MHz. Even in the example with the 16-bit divider the resulting input frequency is a little over 3 kHz. I think it is safe to say that this is way under the 1/2 of 1 MHz guideline. Michael Karas |
