in former times many people made interfacing by the help of QBASIC. With this, you can recieve data, store it in a file, manipulate it and send again.

QBASIC was part of windows 95 OS, but from windows 98 on, it disappeared. QBASIC is one of my best tools, when doing theoretical electronics, means calculating and simulation. I cannot understand why it was removed. May be that QBASIC is too easy and simple?
