#50153 - What kind of data is to be transmitted? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo Harsha,
you didn't tell us, what data is to be transmitted. Is it one byte per hour, or 1MByte per second. Is it unidirectional, bidirectional or multidirectional? Is a 'One Master and 500 Slaves' configuration possible? Is...? Is...? Is...? RS-485 transciever MAX487 is capable of handling up to 128 transmitters on bus. So, you could arrange your terminals into several groups, each containing dozends of terminals. Bye, Kai |
