It's intersting to note, that there's no absolute truth about anything in electronics. How to proceed in a certain situation also highly depends on tradition and experience: Even if there are better ways to solve a problem, a worse one is followed, only because of tradition. That's the reason why such a forum is so important, because you can come in contact with people telling about their certain technical environment, their problems and needs.
