Yes you have got the Bit and Byte stuff nicely mixed up! Suggest read again the set of instructions that are classified as boolean variable manipulations. In fact the only MOV that are possible under this category are, MOV C, bit MOV bit, C and for the above to work, you MUST have declared the 'bit' properly - it can either be a location in the bit-addressable range of the MCU internal RAM or it can be a bit from a bit addressable SFR. And by now you must have realised that there is no ' MOV bit, bit ' - you have to use the carry as the intermediate container. Relook your code with the above in mind. Raghu |
