#5531 - RE: LCD Backlight |
Richard
I bought these devices from a surplus house, so I have no info on these modules. The LCD has the 44780 chip (LCD controller) and another chip 44100 (some have the 6407) which I don't know what either does. Since there are two additional pins on the end of the board going directly to the back of the LCD I assumed these were the backlight contacts. I have no docs with these units, they are new and they do work perfectly to display data. The main question still is where can I get a schematic and/or what parts to buy to get the backlight to work. I guess what I need is a 5vdc to xxx vac power converter. Thanks Post |
