I agree with Rauf, since we both have the same LCD panel with us.

The two terminals at the end are connections for back light. Whatever is the type of the backlight, it illuminates fine with 5volts.

Just give +5volts to these pins. If it doesn't light up, just reverse the polarity. It works fine.
