Dear all,

I am working on a project, which use 8051 to read in 3 switches and blink 8 LEDs according to the status of the switches.Since the circuit is very easy, I have the circuit ready in several days. But I found 8051s is too powerfull for my purpose and it is quite power consumpting.

my requirment of the controller is quite low. Basically what I need is a controller that has 8 output and 3 input. around 1k memory to store the program. no more and no less.

can someone pls tell me what kind of controler I should use in order to reduce the cost of the circuit?
