Now, do you mean to say that after step 3, i have to wait (say with an NOP instruction) before proceeding to step 4?
Not the NOP but a wait loop for 7/10 of bitrate.
Please take a mind that bitrate may be much less than the instruction execution time. For example, when UART works at 9600 baud it means that the bit time is about 104mks. At the same time with standard 11.0592 a simple command takes about 1mks. Now just calculate how long should program wait for 7/10 of bit time.
