In multinode circuits I have yet to see any advantage of full duplex.

It is not the advantages of RS485 that we are talking about here ??

I can only say that there is no harm in using a Full duplex node if one can afford it ,instead of going into hassels and bassels of transmit enable ,receive enable ,timing etc etc .. A full duplex link is very good to jet start your network without any intricacies .My suggestion is valid for only two type of people .

1) Bigineers .
2) Anyone who can afford a few more conductors in the cable .
