#59408 - Need Flash @ 55 nsec |
I need to find a high speed flash chip capable of keeping up with a 16 MHz clocked Philips P87C54X2 chip. The microcontroller is running at 3.3 V and needs to have an 8 MBit FLASH (clearly it is banked in pages) and I need to ensure worst case timinf is met over temp range. This calls for a FLASH chip with a 55 nsec access time to meet the X2 chip PSEN timing.
So far I have located the Silicon Storage Technologies SST39LF080-55-4C-EI in a 40 pin TSOP package. I need to find a second source for 3.3 volt compatible flash at 55 nsec access time. Can anyone recommend such a part? So far: 1) I have looked at Intel and they appear to not make simple standard architecture flash chips anymore. 2) I looked at AMD and it seems the fastest parts they make are the older more conventional 70 nsec parts. 3) I looked into Fujitsu.....it seems they have joined forces with AMD and are shippping the former AMD products under a new name. Any ideas: Michael Karas |
