I am using AT89C51 and I want to transmit ASCII data (e.g PROCESS FAILURE )to fax. Can i use AT commands directly to achieve this? I think not. Remember - fax is pictures. I think you will have to render your text into an image format before you send it to the faxmodem. You will, of course, have to READ THE MANUAL to find out what the format is! But why do you want to use a fax anyway? Why not just make a normal modem data call? In what case this command won't issue ERROR message? When you use it as described in THE MANUAL, of course! |
