I would say "read the manual". As far as I remember, there is an AT-command to suppress the "OK" reply. There is also a way to change the the <C/R>-code to another code. (check the setting of S-registers).

Does your modem need DTR to dial?

If it does, you can try and link DSR-pin to DTR pin on the modem side so your modem is "seeing" a terminal connected. Again, the manual of your modem should be able to inform you on the signals needed.


BTW: why did you state that

I'm facing new problem now. I can easily dial the number from hyperterminal using external modem. But, my controller program can't do so. I have used all the characters to dial the phone:

Which one is correct? Does your modem execute the commmands you enter or not?
