this is how i am thinking of doing the target identification

i will be having 2 targets with the same size but different no. of strips pasted on it.i will have to set the timer on once the first pulse is received and the counter shld start counting the pulses frm the timer when there is no signal thus giving the width.this will be the first target.Similarly for the second target it will have different width.
