hello all,

I had planned to use pca9555(i2c i/o expander) but it is not available here in bangalore (INDIA). If anyone already used this here in INDIA please let us know where it is available .We have 16 leds to drive and 8 relays we also need to support adc0808 and two line lcd.

Any other suggetions are welcomed.

Right now we are using 2 uC(at89s52), but we are finding it difficult to upgrade and maintain.

In the new system we plan to use 1 uc and i/o expanders

(we can directly contact the distributers but it takes atleast 3to 4 weeks to reach here)
