For your own benefit use comments (it also makes it easier for the rest of us)
I think I need to save dptr before i get into another interrupt sence 1) You need to save each and every register, not just the dptr, AND the PSW in each and every ISR you make 2) While OK while you are experimenting, using the dptr (or any other register) as a means of communication between an ISR and main is a bad idea. I am sorry that your program works now, not because you have a working program, but because it will take you a very long time to unlearn that fighting it gives results. Erik |
