There is a difference between studying an existing circuit for the purpose of education, inspiration and, sometimes, admiration on the one hand and "just copy it" on the other. And this is more than just a nuance.

Yes, I have studied other peoples work, in the manner described above, but never downright copied anything that was not mine. To say "I bet you did" is more of an accusation than me conveying my disbelief in your doing so. So I'd say that if any apology is due, it is from you.
