Either Muhammed was God's prophet, or he was a liar. Either the Koran is divine scripture, or it is not. Either you believe that it is your divine responsibility to convert or kill every infidel, or you do NOT believe the Koran.

may be your point of view is correct on a highly theoretical level. But believe me, real life is totally different. There are indeed those grey colours and contradictions in all of our lives. Or do you obey all the christian rules stated in the bible? Are you inviting all the poor and sick people into your house, give them food and night's lodging? Albert Schweitzer had a big discussion with his father about this issue, by the way.
