The best layout program?
I do not do layouts, I believe that is something you must be born with the gift for and I do not have that gift. However, The layout people I have worked with in my career all swear by the layout programs they use and I have surmised that like some artists make great are with a knife and others with a brush what layout program is the best is a matter of match to the user. One layout only (working with nothing else) person I knew went through 3 programs before finding what matched his 'personality'.

If you are going to make a career out of making layouts, I urge you to spend a considerable time working with several programs, you are never going to find one you love, but find the one you dislike the least.

Anyhow, of the people I have worked with the only software that more than one uses is Tango.
