Yes that is a very cood point. As designs get more complex this process gets further removed from design engineering. It becomes a discipline of its own.
It's much like computers we all work with them but I doubt anyone could draw a complete correct schematic diagram of a p4. If they did nobody could check it for errors. If they built it from the drawing it would not function. Current high end boards resemble early integrated circuits more than what they started out to be (accurate repeatable replacements for hand done point to point wiring). looking at Tango I see it is an Altium product. Can you say Codewright/Borland it leaves the same tast as Circuit maker/Altium I hope they treat Tango better. Terry |
