I want to know How critical is a Vcc Plane. Importance of Gnd Plane and Cons of Gnd Loops have been discussed several times here in the forum and I have understood it. Several times Erik has said in his posts to use 4 layer PCB's with Vcc and Gnd Planes Now, I want to know how critical it is to use a Vcc plane. I have seen a lot of professional double sided PTH PCB's. All of them have a solid Gnd plane, but Vcc is not given much importance usually people use thicker traces for Vcc and not Planes like those used for Gnd.
