The off the shelf digital ones seem to offer very low precision, so be careful in your selection. A thermistor is a lot more sensitive and easier to read. Thermistors a are available with a resistance/temperature precision of 0.1-0.2 C. They ARE horribly, horribly non-linear. I have a complex MathCad document that we use to calibrate one of our servo systems,
