If the suggestion above does not do it fast enough for you (read twice to get the data, write twice to write the data), there is only one way: Use a 16 bit processor. You can not expect an 8 bitter to magically read and write 16 bits in one go. Have a look at the Philips XA or use an ARM Erik |
