I wonder...
Due to ESR, all electrolytic capacitors heat up a bit, leading to drying out of electrolyte and eventual failure. So would it not be better if they came without the thermally insulating plastic sleeve? Anyway in the radial capacitor the can is isolated from both the terminals, and I am sure the value can be directly printed using pad printing.
