#77393 - RE: Noise Reduction Techniques.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Please stop making statements, telling that a double sided PCB isn't suited to meet CE standards and FCC rules, because these statements are just wrong!
I said no such thing, I said "how to get by with 2 layers if you can not do the right thing and use 4 layers". "how to get by" specifically implies that it can be done.

That the hoolabaloo you have to go through to make something, even decent, with 2 layers is not worth the time it takes, happens to be my opinion which does not exclude that it "can be done".

Also, in these Time To Market days, who has the time to reiterate a 2 layer board umpteen times till it is right.

I speak from the perspective of well designed commercial stuff, not "what you can get by with"

I believe that, by now, all regulars are aware that my opinions come from the perspective of industrial quality (better than commercial quality).
Since I have no knowledge, whether post x is about an amateurs attempt to make one pegboard unit or someone trying to design an industrial strength project, my statements all are "what i would do"

Erik

PS: I did suggest to Craig, that a "mark" for amateur or professional got added.
