This is an [b]excellent[/b] thread with lots of great tips. Is someone that has more experience in PCB design going to put all these together and submit it as a FAQ? Or should I do it myself?

For those that aren't aware, [i]anyone[/i] can add entries into the FAQ. Unfortunately I get about 10 "FAQ entries" per week but they are [i]questions[/i] that should have been posted to the forum and not a question with an answer that can be added to the FAQ. That despite the fact that the page I just linked to includes the text "THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO ASK QUESTIONS" in red font. :(
