1) Does the SI Labs Uprocessor have an external clock pin? ....
2) you could slow down the speed while you were accessing the Codec and then speed it up again after you were done. 1) those I know do (XTAL1 and XTAL2 like most) 2) no need to slow down the processor using a dividing timer for the clock would work just fine. Erik |
