I have never used Backdoor with P89V51RD2 only erik can tell if the same BackDoor [ for P89C51RD2 ] can be used for P89V51RD2 also.
No need, the 'V' chips are always ready for ISP. Start FlashMagic then reset (power up) your uC and you are programming.
