Further to my previous post on noise, bypassing the 5V rail with capacitors is necessary - especially since you commented that removing the cpu makes the reception better - a 10uF tant and a 100nF ceramic near the cpu power pins should fix this end of it. If you're using a three terminal regulator, make sure it has the required capacitors around it. These little things can make a BIG difference. |
